The flip side of taken numbers is available numbers. Almost. This is the list of expired numbers, hence available. There may be unused numbers not on the list. Contact Chuck if you have a favorite. Give him a couple of alternatives and he will work with you.

Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.

Are they taken or in use?  We had a couple of numbers we used to change classes, but they were not in use.  Got a call from a guy that wanted one of our numbers for a reason, he now has 1010.
So you might want to see if the numbers you want are active, Chuck should be able to tell you, and if not, contact the owner and give him you request.  If he ain't racin' it this year, he might lend it to you...

I don't know how up to date that list is. my number 1104 is in use. I emailed Chuck late last year when the list first came out and he replied. But I don't think it was removed from the list. Doubt anyone wants to be 1104 anyway.. RF

The list was put up by Chuck in January. I'd contact him again and ask him to take the number off the list. You have run in the last three years?  :-D

I belong to the BNI and would like to run for time only at El Mirage.
Do I need  number, I think yes, do you think I can use it at the BUB Trials?

I know for sure that Bub's will allow you to use any ol' number you want -- and that if you have one from somewhere other than Bub's -- you may ask that they "reserve" that number for you as they assign numbers to those that don't already have one.  If the one you ask for is taken at Bub's then you're S O L and will need a different number for that event.

Nancy and I had entertained the idea of running at Bub's and asked that our numbers be "saved" for us, and Delvene did so right away/chop chop.

I emailed Chuck when they mailed out the list. He replied. I have been running the 104 car. I don't think I'm in trouble, but I can always X out the first #1 if need be.

As some of you know I've been trying to compile a list of SCTA numbers and pictures of the cars and bikes that go with them.

I now have on one page all the cars and bikes that I have pictures of to this point and will continue to update that page as I add more.

If you are looking for a number you might want to take a peek at the list.

You can find it here:

http://purplesagetradingpost.com/sumner/bville-cars-1/bville-all%20numbers.html

I'm still looking for more pictures to fill in the blanks, so if you have pictures of a bike or car not listed please get them to me.

c ya,

Sum
