Not to worry SSS but if you decide to seek refuge in the green field office we have a committee formed to quickly lock the door.

Jack, is Chauvin in line? If so, don't lock the door.

We are going to put sand bag barriers around the timing trailer crappers. These two always seem to aim at them With Chauvin a bulls eye at El Mirage right behind the trailer. The good part a EMT had just left it less then one minute before He zeroed in on it.

JD, you didn't tell me of these hazards when you let me take over the job.  I wonder what my insurance agent will say when I call and ask for a liability policy to cover me while doing toilet duty. . .

In the good old days when it was a 3 axis world and punched paper tape was the norm you didn't do really complicated things. You used a hydraulic tracer on the mill and followed the contours by hand.

Now you substitute a very expensive 5 axis CNC and pricey CAD/CAM software and there is no end to the things you can do. At work we pop in a large chunk of steel, poke a button and 16 hours of machining later we have the face mold for an aluminum wheel. I guess if we used punched paper tape for this it would be about 600 miles long!
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

I am so envious. Never got beyond a 1/4" drill and a hand file.  Lots of ideas though.  :-D

SSS, the agent will probably reply, "now ain't that just the _hits?"
Three axis with paper or five axis w/o just don't smell the same as
Slims work area.

Freud, is that any way to treat the guy that presented you with such a thoughtful gift at the Reunion last month?

Hey, EVERYBODY:  Ask Freud to tell you about his new "toy".  Or maybe he'd rather keep it a secret (or is that secrete?).

I love the USA. How much longer will we be a free nation?

Asking questions is one's only way of getting answers.

The rational person lets verified facts form or modify his opinion.  The ideologue ignores verified facts which don't fit his preconceived opinions.

Sometimes it is tough to get Slims contribution suitably recognized and ya gotta just sneak it in.  LOL

I was in First Class on the flight to LA and used the new FART MACHINE 2 that
SSS gave me at the banquet. The woman flight attendant had the male flight
attendant  ask me if I was OK.
I smiled and asked him for a beer. When he brought it, I told him
Refried Beans.
The seat next to me was vacant so after that I moved over to the "clean seat."
They didn't trust me the remainder of the flight.
I don't think I'll use it anymore until I ride in SSS's truck at B'ville.
