There was a lot of discussion on the message board earlier concerning all the free help people would supply if things were different at Speedweek.

Here is your chance, Larry Burford is the Course Steward Coordinator, contact Larry at:

Dan, it would be a lot easier if we knew we had rooms, but I sure intend to help if at all possible.  I suggested earlier having a sign up board every morning for people like me who insist on breaking their motor every year.  Has there been any discussion ?  Thanx, Bob

Bob,

Contact Larry and ask. I have nothing to do with any activities of the Board of Directors, I am not a member.

I would love to do the ERT again, but 400 miles on my pickup on just the salt and then the 1200 mile drive around trip, and the salt rusting my truck is a bit much, maybe Mr lattin and the (bord) would rent us a pickup or uhaul to do the job for the week, would love to do it. What do you thank about that Glen B???  We had a good time with you and the rest of the timing crew.

As of this time the Gear Grinders have taken it over again and will handle it at the lakes and the salt.

I spoke with Larry, who is in charge of the course workers, and he is willing to  pay BIG BUCKS ($70. per 4 hour shift).  Both he and Mike Waters said they will look into the sign up board idea.  Mike also said that the biggest need is towards the end of the meet when people are starting to go home.  Rooms might be easier to find about mid week also.

I forgot to add, Mike said no help is needed on the Crapper Patrol.  He said Slim is the most proficient Turdherder he has ever seen, and he doesn't want to rock the boat.  The only problem is he has caught Slim eating the breath mints out of the purse holder twice............... :-D :-D :-D

I'm worried about what you say, Bob.  Do you mean they aren't BIG Certs?  They sure dissolve slowly...melt in your mouth, not in your hand.

I double checked with the person that gave me the address and he verified that is what he was given. He thinks that maybe the bill wasn't paid. Try the phone number?
