I didn't really mean that very much, Stan -- I'm just trying to get in a bunch of posts so I can surpass the magiic 500 number so I get my next star.  It's sort of like trying to get more time sober in AA -- you do it one day (post) at a time.

I've already been passed a crappy job -- Creel took care of that.  Portapotties are just right for Jon -- they'll be close to the source, that a--hole.

PLAY NICE
And Jon, am I ever gonna get my power cord back ?
The chief timer is going to give a spare rulebook to a biker ?
This can't be good !

Jack, I forgot to mention the price of the rule book is a bottle of good scotch delivered to me at speedweek.
Isn't that a fair deal :-D

A bottle of Scotch for the timer is a longtime tradition among the racers and with today's donations we are in 5 figures.
MK gets it for us in a drum cheap and we just rotate the bottles.  LOL

It costs me more than one bottle just to get him to guard the door at the B'ville NW Banquet. Then the bar bill in the room after the dinner really gets out of hand. But I have made arrangements to use the hand truck to get him back to his room when it's time for the timer to crash.

I made a mistake. This year you get to have the key to the urinal and since there is no pay for that employment opportunity, you won't have to worry about the quality of the sauce. Since I have already paid the deposit on the hand truck, I'll keep it handy for Flynn.

Does this thread make as much or more sense than the rule book?

jon and glen,

within minutes of my original post, NoisyNorton offered to mail me a spare copy, so, I have one on the way... again, thanks for all the offers of help.

you all might just get tired of me over the coming months while i try to figure things out...

as far as the scotch is concerned... can i substitute Nutec? it tastes about the same, costs a little less, and i end up with the same headache after being in too close of proximity of both.

define good? car guys and bike guys have a pretty distancing polarity about them.
