You can blame "Global Forming" for all of that.

There was 6" of snow at the surf on the Oregon coast this week.  A PC TV station blamed it on something like that  :-o

Yes, Where is that global warming? We get a freeze here about once every 5 or 6 years. Well last 2 nights the shop cats water dish has been froze solid in the morning. About 1 1/2 inch of water. First thing this morning my neighbor called and asked if I had a pipe cutter and 3/4 pipe tap. Broke a water pipe in his back yard. Never been that cold before. Maybe we are turning around and going back to the ice age.    Doug Odom in big ditch  ( by the pacific ocean )

How old would you be now if you didn't know how old you are?
If you can't race it or take it to bed - it ain't worth having.

with the temps @ bendover listed way below freezing - does it snow on the salt flats?? if it does the snowmobile guys could have their own speed week.
speed is expensive-how fast do you want to go?-to soon old & to late smart.

GLOBAL FORMING is a repeatable cycle that is beyond us I think.
I have run at Bonneville a number of times with snow in Wendover.
In the 70s I recall following the snow plow through Ely and as recently as 3 years ago leaving the snow in Wendover after we ran.
Sometimes as early as mid March to as late as late November.
If I could just figure out where they are saving the salt, I would ask them to just put it back like they found it with all the other minerals that make it usable.

Maybe instead of Global Warming we should work on Global Weather Trading.  You know, I'll give you 20 degrees of mine if you give me 20 degrees of yours.

Talk to me in July when it's 115 here in southern Utah and we will trade. My daughter in Klamath Falls is always begging for some of our heat.

If the earth was just round instead of flat, we could rotate it around the sun to even up the temps.
Kinda like a chicken in a Bar-B- Q.
We should get the Sidewinders right on it.

On second thought I need to take that weather trading thing back.  That would involve getting people to agree on something.  That will never work!!

Its the humidity that makes it crazy in this part of the world, but with 3 inchs of ice on the wires pulling them off the poles, I'm just glad the juice is back and I can 'CHAT' tonight with you guys. Oops.
