This is the third or fourth iteration, as the denim wears out and gets replaced.  The patches are a bitch to sew and keep in line, and, well, Stainless, I guess there's some truth in your observation, too.

Thanks, Deepindebt and MRK.  I now have two-count-them-two patches from 2023!  I got the '24 item already so now the sewing fun begins.

I wonder if any more will arrive. . .
