Santa brought me the stuff I ordered -- finally got that cordless impact wrench (on sale at Amazon.com -- DeWalt, 18V, 2 batteries and charger and case, afer discount and free shipping:  $225, and a "rebate" for a hammer drill/driver, too).

Nancy got brand-new boots to match her leathers -- spiffy silver and blue, and they fit (one of the nice things about ordering custom-made boots -- trace the outline of each foot and they build the boot to the correct size).

And best of all, we got word that the billet crankshaft for my bike should be done and delivered within only a few more weeks or a month or two.  In time for the '07 season, at least. . .

Happy New Year, all.
