Harley/Aermacchi Land Speed racer. This is the current record holder at El Mirage. The first picture is the current bodywork. The second photo is the configuration when it set the record.
The bike had a stage 1 engine build in 1999. The famous Aermacchi engine builder Ron Lancaster rebuild the current engine as a stage 3 build. It is a 350 de-stroked to a 250 with CP Carillo conrod, Arias piston and racing cam. It comes with a second 350 engine with ported heads, electronic ignition and electric starter. I would suggest the backup engine be disassembled, inspected and cleaned. It has a new piston and cylinder but need the cylinder boring to match the piston. I planned to turbocharged the second engine and run the bike in two classes.
There is a box of spare and assorted parts, two extra frame and a swingarm. there is a spare wheel and a starter setup to spin the crankshaft. The tires are good but outdated. It's pretty much ready to race. $5500 located in Springfield, Oregon
