El Mirage deaths

Not at the lakebed, but 6 people killed a few minutes North of EM yesterday. Very isolated up there.

That seems so unrelated to land speed racing, I wonder why you posted it.  Every day, thousands of people die.

Tallguy, while thousands of people die daily, not all that many of 'em kick the bucket near one of our major race venues.  It's like when the Wendover cop's wife was busted for being a hooker - it's close and we're curious.

That's some "No country for old men"  stuff right there.  Those on the receiving end had to know this wasn't a good idea for a meeting place.
