what a sad news

whenever I came to the salt, Mike's pit was one of the first places I showed up, always looking for to talk with him

his Shootout, he organized, was one of a kind....he also maked the meet in Bolivia possible

Mike was not only a great competitor and team owner at the salt....he also was a man with a big heart for everyone

the salt lost a great man

Mike, thanks for all you done, it was great to knowing you as a friend

R.I.P. ....you will be missed...and never forgotten

All of us from USFRA extend our condolences to Mike's family and friends.

On a more personal note. He was very instrumental in helping me get my feet under me when I took over the job on the starting line. Had many interactions with him over the years, most of them very pleasant a few were less than. He was always very passionate and earned my deep respect. May he rest in peace and hope he is enjoying some happy reunions.

The thing i remember about Mike was how he treated all with respect. From newbies to old pros we all got a fair shake. RIP Mike

Mike was a giver who gave so much to LSR for a whole lot of years. RIP M8!
Was the trunk lid hit to his head a contributing factor to his untimely passing?

A truly sad day for the LSR community. I pray for his family. Mike and his family were true friends to our family as Penny and Mikes children played with ours on the salt.
He will be missed by all of us?.
