Crossing the boarder paperwork

What paperwork do I need you bring my race bike thought the boarder from Canada to US and back. I have no turtle for my bike and was built up from part I do have bills for the parts 1947 BSA C 10

only anecdotal info coming. I have motion picture camera, old, analog. I was crossing the border and to avoid being hit with problems at the border, I went to Canada Customs before I left and they gave me a certificate with the serial numbers on it and then stamped it. I showed that on re-entry and didn't have any issues. There must be something as simple and similar for your bike. Only thing, I had to take my camera to them. Much easier than a trailered bike. I'd try to reach someone at Canada Customs or check out these guys from Winnipeg, they can help for sure:
