AI in LSR
« on: March 16, 2023, 04:23:00 PM »
As I am just discovering this new thing called artificial intelligence and its capabilities,
it has got me to wondering about its potential uses in LSR.

Have the AI design the most aerodynamic bodywork for your racing machine,
have a CNC cut out a foam plug of the shape,
lay it up in carbon fiber and Bingo!

Heck, the AI could design your gearing, your tuning, etc...

On the surface it sounds simple enough to do (for someone more knowledgeable than me).

Are any of you guys using AI to help you go faster?

I've obviously been using Artificial Intelligence in my racing program for years... If I was using real intelligence I would just get bigger motors to go faster...

Along with bigger engines comes bigger record speeds. A smart man has a 600cc engine, a fool like me has a 600 cu in engine. cromag

I prefer Actual Intelligence - as practiced on this forum - the Artificial Ignorance will never master devious!

As I am sure that all of us over 30 do.

However ... this new technology is coming on fast.
It seems like a pretty good tool to have in the box.
