2020 Harvest Event. At speed we see Connecticut Team Murray Brothers Racing entry 411 roadster.  Driven by Andrew Murray to a record speed of 202.705 mph in class C/GS (5 Liter / Gas Streamliner).  The hand made body and frame of this beautiful roadster couldn't race in modified or grand touring as it did not meet the minimum production quantity required. It is a one off built by Andy Murray.  It is the 3rd in line of his cars. The 2 he built before this are very different so each is its own design.  1st was the Murray Bros. Special which was Hot Rod Magazine car of the year and 2nd was Murray Bros coupe. Both ran at Bonneville . Rules call for 500 to be built  to be considered a production car. In some classes 200 are required, so he entered in Streamliner class.   Andy made the 200 MPH Club with this aluminum hand formed car.  Far as I can tell this car has only been raced once.  It is truly a work of art.  Tom Shay photo.

2009 Maine Event. At speed we see "Found Money" from Massachusetts team Braces Greenhouse Racing entry number 260. Driven by Ed Brace to a record speed of 175.574 mph in class D/BGRMR (5 Liter / Blown Gas Rear Engine Modified Roadster). This very interesting car has raced in just about every venue possible. As lettered on the rear spoiler support, Ed was points champion in 2008 at Maxton. He set the record on the Bonneville Salt Flats as well. RR Dill photo.
