Bonneville Racing News Needs Help
« on: January 03, 2023, 02:49:32 PM »
I received this letter from BRN today.  Between my Father and I, we have had a subscription since almost the beginning.  It would be a shame if the magazine disappeared.

I hate to say it... Is there a way to take it online?

Aircap, I think that is what Wendy is thinking... but she does not have the computer and internet skills to make it happen.

Taking it online and offering the past issues in an archive section would be huge.  Yes, labor intensive, but a great value.  No, I am not volunteering to do this, but I will gladly pay a subscription fee if it were done.  Slim, here's your chance to expand!

I subscribed several times over the years. An online version would be too cool for school. I would definitely pop for a subscription!

I don't think Ralph Sheheen cares much about salt racing. As I remember Economaki only covered it once or twice. Isn't Bret Kepner a devoted salt racing fan?

Has anyone heard if someone bought BRN from Wendy, and plans to bring it back?

It's gone, but some of the content is now being folded into an expanded version of the SCTA Racing News.  Check it out on https://scta-bni.org/

I just subscribed. It will be good to read salt racing news again.
