Mr. Webster defines roadster  as an open top vehicle that seats two passengers. My guess is the inspectors would agree with him.
I`d never advocate drugs,alcohol,violence or insanity to anyone...But they work for me.

About 1909 as far as I can tell... but with further investigation maybe 1908... although the SAE did not define them until 1916...  :roll:
But I'll bet someone out there has a pic of one with a top in the 1890's...
