November SCTA in the ditch

The BLM just cancelled the November meet.

So much for 2022.

The BLM canceling a permit because it MIGHT rain sets a bad precedent.
Unless it's crazy, ambitious and delusional, it's not worth our time!

El Mirage weather for today and tomorrow is saying it might get 1/2" of rain. 80% chance.

I am glad we got some notice. We were planning on being there. At least there will be no surprising disappointment Saturday morning and being stuck with rooms.
The only sponsored Bonneville or El Mirage runs this entire year was USFRA's Test and Tune. Thanks to them, for that, at least!
I really hope all of our best days are not behind us. I long to be with our Salty and Dusty family again......

Been there, seen that! And now I can say I participate, with my kid and his kid, J.R...........

We have to take every opportunity to run our junk because we never know what the weather or the BLM (Bloody Land Mismanagers) will do to cock that up for us. I entered the USFRA T&T to help support the meet but being unsure if I would be ready to run. As it turned out I wasn't so I dragged my long pile of parts down there just to get some quality eyeballs on it.
It's like sex, you've gotta get it when you can!

Looks it ?might? be raining right over the top of El Mirage for the last 4 hours. I?m guessing BLM made a good call.
