A handful of months ago I heard that Joyce had been pretty seriously hurt - but no details other than "no fan mail" -- let er recover for a while. Today I found this post on Facebook. I'll put the text here so you get the address right.

In case you don't recall, you've seen her for years at the registration trailer, you've seen her husband at the start line on course 1 (his name is Mr. Joyce Jensen and he's the chief starter emeritus). Read the following post and then send a note or card.

As many of you know, my mom fell and broke her neck 6 months ago and was left paralyzed. She has been in the hospital continuously since the fall.
As you could imagine, Mom is a little depressed from being in the hospital for so long and outside connections are very appreciated. She would love to receive cards or letters from friends and family and anyone else whose life she has touched.
