Skip ahead to modern day. 5.C CLASSIC CATEGORY The way I read it is, you can swap any engine into a 28 to81 car as long as there are no electronics that are going to change the tune as it travels down the track? "Classes within the Classic Category are the equivalent of the Modified and Production categories with body modifications as allowed in those categories" But "Modified and Production" allow DIFFERENT body modifications? Not sure of the intent? If I choose to enter "A/CGALT" , because of ALT do I get to follow the 5.D.2 body rules? Just what body mods can make? Just trying to avoid future mistakes.KATIE.
So let me get this straight, , ,following the 5.D.2 rules, I can cover the headlights and grill, and add a step pan, and be legal in /CBFALT?
I thought you were not allowed to , but the last sentence in Altered says the may be filled or removed.MarkOrtiz Family Racing

The fact that it is Classic has no bearing.
