The new owners of Chrysler are now offering wind tunnel testing to outside customers at $2,200 per hour (minimum 4 hours) at the Auburn Hills Technical Center.
I am planning on testing before Speed Week 2022 in June or July. I do not need all this time. Multiple cars can be tested in the same test rental block. If any one is interested in participating in WT testing next summer please contact me. Darco is now closed and we LSR have very few options for tests except the very expensive tunnels in SC.
Now that my 29 Ford roadster (F/FMR) is running over 200 mph, I plan on chasing records close to 250 mph. I feel it would be very prudent from a safety and stability perspective as well as aero improvements to get real data to see what I can do to be safe and go FAST.
