Well this bike served the purpose it was built for, 2 youngsters got their taste of racing on the Salt and had a ball!
Any land speed folks looking for a great starter bike for some youngsters this would be it.
2006 Yamaha TTR 125 LE big wheel , electric start. Engine has hi- comp piston kit, Hot Cams upgraded cam, upgraded ignition box, and a full exhaust system, upgraded carb with extra jets. Has a shift light. Front rim changed to a YZ 80 19" so suitable tire could be found. New tires and tubes for LSR. Several front and rear sprockets, new chain. Clip-on mars, new grips and levers, front braided brake line. Custom rearsets and shifter---- can be unbolted and stockers put on. Steering damper from a Hayabusa. Awaiting the Airtech front fender, fabbed a quickie from a CB 350 Honda. Two left side fork legs so there were tabs to mount a low fender.
Probable forgetting something---
I noticed it was smoking a little so need to look at either rings or valve seals, easy on a single cylinder. Bill of Sale only as this bike went through at least 3 different firemen teaching their kids before my brother had it to teach his daughter. It sat in his barn for several years before he donated it to out cause, so no telling when/ where it was last registered. $2000.00
