I injured our motor this year at speed week. Nebulous Theorem Car number 959. Exit speed 255 in 5th gear........had shifting issues into sixth gear. Then we geared it for a 5 speed run and blew up the motor. I am looking for a 263 mph record. I am out of funds for motors. I could use a motor partner and or somehow purchase a motor. At this point a stock motor may work..........Your name would be on the car and the record books. I promised Jack I would give it my best shot.

Looking for help. I sound desperate because I am. I am trying to get back for Jack Castella's record back in I gas streamliner. We were close. You know how that goes.

We had a 254.7 mile 5 after two hits on the rev-limiter and backing off.

The track is so nice I wanted to get out for World finals.

I wish I could help you Tim. I'll lend you my 2007 ZX10 engine if you can figure out how to mount it.

I did a quick search on eBay, and this rebuilder in Illinois will sell you an engine for $1800 with your core as trade.

Good luck,
Dean

There is nothing left of my core. Almost split the motor in two pieces. Windows front and rear and cylinder wall gone!

We can help you.  I sent you a PM.  Don't buy an engine until you read it.

Thank you all for the offers and help. Still looking for the right power plant. 07-08 gsxr 1000 makes this  a plug and play. We are also considering 2017- 2021 gsxr 1000 motors. This would require many modifications but we would have the newest generation of parts available. Stock output is about what a moderate build early motor puts out.

Now we are considering a later model engine. 2017 - 2021

Does anyone know the dimensions of the new motors? Cylinder height from the oil pan mounting surface. Width across cases? length front to rear etc.......Any help would be appreciated.
