Keeping air conditioning and heater in production class

Like the title says....has anybody run full a/c and heater box in a production class door slammer? Does it pass tech?

As I remember (not certified) the guy who owned Vintage Air ran a Studebaker over 200 with the air on.

Yes owner of Vintage Air in Texas. A beautiful black 53 Studebaker as I remember. It was on his catalog for years and still may be.
First GMC 6 powered Fuel roadster over 200, with 2 red hats. Pit crew for Patrick Tone's Super Stock #49 Camaro

Ben Jordan raced a Citroen SM in 1972 with the air on... 3 liter production class.

The claim for the Vintage Air Studebaker was 219mph with the air on.
I believe it was at the 1995 World of Speed.

A very beautiful and fast car but when I looked under the hood before the run there was no belt on the compressor. Just saying.

There is/was the Nissan GTR that ran a couple of years back with a full climate system. He would sit in the staging lane at El Mirage in 90 degree heat with the windows up and the a/c on listening to music. They ran over 200 mph in that ride!

Thanks. That was my plan also.....keeping cool.....not running 200mph
