Some attached framework inside might help to stiffen your front end...

I would suggest making the panels as thick as needed to keep it from collapsing and then building a 2 part tree/mount system. The top tree out of light 3/8" tubing and the bottom mount out of heavy 3/16" steel angle. That would add a bit of weigh in the front and keep the CG as low as possible. Just dont go too crazy with the weight in front of the axle. Good luck with the build! It will be interesting. Good power numbers too!

Time to start making it look nice. It appears if I finish it with 8-9 layers like it currently is in the middle that will be more than stiff enough. It is quite rigid in the middle.

Here is the low pressure turbo for hopefully my last iteration of compound turbo and turbo system in general for a while.

I now have enough turbo to support 700whp. Will the 1.3L give anymore up?

All the hotside piping is done. Just waiting on some aluminum reducers to finish the cold side.

Not quite finished but, close enough to hear it start. I am getting excited now. A few things left then back to the Dyno.

The intake is not finished yet. Once I mount the front end I will lengthen it. It is finished though and ready for testing. The Dyno has a car stuck on it until at least the middle of next week. I will report back once I can get on there. It would be nice to find the limit of the clutch so I can get the new one made.

I would think on the salt that the limited traction would spin the wheels before the clutch let go

But Mike, how much hp are you developing? Yes, we are lucky to see .6 G?s at Bonneville but with mountains of hp, you can break parts. One of the upsides of my car not having enough horse power to break stuff, I guess (lol). However, I have a two disc Tilton waiting in the wings.
