All I can tell you is what I'd guess you've seen in the Classification ? V4/BFS.

Vintage 4-Cylinder (V4) Chevrolet, probably late 20s overhead valve engine they say is Turbocharged (B), Fuel class (F) Streamliner (S).

The record in the 2020 Rule Book is 226+.

The words "innovation unlimited" are below the drivers side window. Hope this helps.

Olds 3 port head on Chevy block http://www.tamsoldracecarsite.net/SpurginGiovanine1.html The web page has info on the Spurgin-Giovanine Roadster and it's Oldsmobile/Chevy engine.
Former record holder at RIR ½ mile drags, El Mirage and Bonneville.

Beef Stew doesn't have his head where the sun-don't-shine. His head is in SoCal where the unusual is an everyday happening.

If sign is correct it looks like extensive engine modifications.  Cutting the block length wise and height
different head, changing main brg webs for 5 main brg crank, snow mobile drive train.  seems pretty innovative, but not sure if it has ever run or if the engine mods would meet the V4 regs.

Did anyone see the hammer price on it? Mecum says it sold. It was lot # A94. Dont wanna bother signing up just to see the price. Maybe someone else here is already signed up.

I'm a bike guy, but the fact that they brag about light weight makes me think this was not built by Bonneville-savvy team?

8400 seems cheap for all the work and parts though. Good luck to someone :)
