Okay, I think we know what's going on here.

Bob, was back when I discovered that the Forum allowed (any) word to be auto-edited, so I instituted my "curse-word filter".  I inputted a half-dozen or so of the common naughty words and set the machine to chan ge them into -- car brands.  Dodge, Ford, Plymouth, and a few others.  My rationale was to keep the Forum above some of the other internet sites by making it a little less threatening for a guy to show his grandson what we talk about.  I'd like to continue the filter thing, please.  The folks on the Forum have adjusted to it well without getting cranky (although the first comment I ever got was from Dr. Goggles asking what I'd done to make all of his linked stuff change).

Now you know.

In Dr. Goggles defense, the Australian version of the English language requires at least one if not more F-words and a beer to complete a proper sentence.

Strange memory: I'm pretty that his botophucket (note the literarily correct Spoonerism) account name was "fourdoorshitbox" which was auto-modified.
