I have every intention of streaming the audio.  I can't promise 'til I get it set up and running and I can't do that 'til the audio gear gets here - tomorrow - but I sure hope I get it running.

Part of the fun is gonna be doing it all by myself.  I sounds like Ron won't be joining me so I'll be flinging papers everywhere trying to keep up with the action.  Wish me luck.

I expect Ron Cohn will arrive and set up the audio equipment today, and once that's running I'll fire up the live stream and put on some tunes.  I'll letcha know so you can tune in and tell me that it's working  Mid-afternoon??

The FM frequency on the salt will be 89.3 MHz - that's FM, kids.  The radio is up and running but I haven't teried turning on the stream yet.  That'll be later.

The audio is up and running, I think.  It's making it all the way from the laptop over there to this one dang near 8 feet away.  Anybody else hearing it?  Same link as last year - go to the upper right side of the site's home page.

I really enjoy the streaming and I appreciate your effort.  It does mean that less will get done in the shop in the following days but that is not a bad thing.  These days not a lot gets done anyway.

I was out of the "studio" and the stream crashed.  It's back now, but that's the first - ever crash.  I hope it's not a harbinger of things to  come.

Now the crass aspect:  landracing.com runs pretty much exclusively on donations.  Usually I've made t-shirts for Salt Talks and sold them to fund the site.  This year I've made some face masks and pocket knives instead of shirts.  If you're here at the salt you can find me in the radio/timing slip trailer hard by the main pit entrance.  I'd like at least $20 for one of the knives and at least $10 for a mask.

I'll post a pic of the masks as soon as I find one.  Donations via Paypal works fine - use the buttons here and there on this site/Forum, please, or send the donation to me at 509 Dukes Road, Skandia Michigan 49885.

THANK YOU  VERY MUCH
