Hi folks,
still on with building my motorcycle streamliner and have a question about drag. I am running a turbo which will be near the top of the fibreglass fairing and obviously running pretty damn hot. I would like to add some means of heat dispersion but read that louvres are bad news for drag coefficient, and wondered if a plethora of say 6mm holes would have the same negative effect or would actually be ok. Obviously i can add heat shield cloth and foil to stop the fiberglass cooking but keeping the engine bay cool is a good idea.
any thoughts/experience most welcome, cheers Ian
