Ha!

Everybody should have a LSR vehicle in their living room, perfect!

Why have it outside when you can eat your dinner on your lap and just stare at it for hours...

Which class room was it? Science? Physics? Art? Creationism?

Better move it quick if it was politics... you'll never finish it.

I like your style.

Rev, you'll appreciate this. It's an old seminary. Has 2 classrooms just like the one in the photograph. Complete with chalkboards and bulletin boards and tons of shelves. I couldn't have designed it better.  8)  Wayno

I'd go and live in the shed and keep worshiping the car in the house...

Not done yet. Jim Travis is a worthy opponent and can be an aset to the club.

Rules say gotta have a bottle, how it is mounted is up to you. Just a rumor anyway. It was probably not your end of the car anyway.

Great advice, all of you. Thanks!

I really like the idea of a modernized replica. I believe I will head down that road.

Elmo, where in Utah are you? I'm up in Brigham City.

If you would like to see a car that could be in the "living room" check out the pictures of Steve Nelson's new car. Steve should be on the Salt next year and he tells me that he is probably going to have a G class motor, he also has all the parts, (they need machining) to build a killer V4 motor. This car is so well engineered and done, it should be a "looker" when he gets it painted.

Shocks:

Terry,
The shocks are mounted inboard on the axle inside the body. The springing is provided by VW laminated torsion bars which in themselves have some dampening.

The neat part about the VW bars is they are easy to change
the spring rate and plenty of them are available for cheap.
