Super Fast someday :-D I think we are looking at 2 completely different scenarios, at SW it rained a couple days before the meet, this last rain is a few weeks before the next meet with warm temps and no rain in forecast(we all know that can change) I'm sure the USFRA will make the right call. We wont be going if its only a short course. Boots on the ground will have the best info. Hope to hear some reports over the next several days.

Yep! When this storm is over I'm packing it all away for the winter.

Well here's the video not sure why he's called superfast! Shows you what to expect unless there's a miracle by the finals.

That is a good video. I think "Superfast" is a tongue-in-cheek nickname. :-D

After drying out, it's wet again (rain last night?). Also - the cone is now earthbound.

That cone looks like a float gauge.

Any one know why the salt cam isn't working?

The web server appears to be down for the entire site, not just a problem with the camera:
https://meso1.chpc.utah.edu/station_cameras/bflat_cam/

You can even ping the server, so that part still works.

Looks like some scheduled maintenance, so hopefully it will be up again soon.

Disclaimer: I'm not sure if the computers described in the CHPC maintenance downtime page have anything to do with the salt flat pictures. The warning is on the same university computing domain, but we don't know if this is related.

From Sunday evening, January 28th. A stunning glassy surface reflects the colors of the sky and the distant mountain range.

I saved this one the other day. The sunrise made the mountain glow.
