Front engine broke a con-rod. Danny was able to pull off safely, but of course they are done for the meet.   Too bad.

But the performance is there for a potential record.   They plan to be back for the World Finals later in the year.

The stream:  Well, we sure as heck hope to get it up and running today.  Lots of comm difficulties yesterday meant that I didn't get the system to work.  Now we've got service - hope to start the stream soonest.

Waiting for a USB cable to get the audio to the internet form the mixer- the analog wires didn't get it going. 

Parts of the computer system here (not the broadcast/streaming part) is producing some headaches - the long course has been down for quite a while.  Short and rookie courses still running.

That's been my experience also. When it's not working, it shows a swirling refresh symbol.

It's been working for about the last five minuites.

Hey Slim!  Now that they've got the A/BFS record, is the Speed Demon team packing up?  Or, are they sticking around, perhaps to try for a one-time pass higher than Danny Thompson's, to get their name on the trophy again?
