Yeah, that's right.  I was tricked by reading how she did it on "a stock bike".  I sure like hearing the S1000's shifter at work.  Click click click as the bike leaves the line - nicer than an air shifter.

I'm not sure where to put these -  but I wanted you to see what happened at Land's End and how it's being worked on - maybe even fixed.

Here's the shot I took just as the first truckload of salt was being placed to start filling in the canyon that developed during the World of Speed event:

This is Ron trying to not get buried in the arriving salt -- no matter what the truck driver tried to do:

Main, Cook, and Mike Crawford smiling while the driver does the work:

Congratulations Valerie!!!  208 on a 204 record and a hat, WTFG!

BTW she was in MPS-G 1000, not Production.

Dean

Any idea of what Valerie's exact record was?  I see the 2 club min for 1000cc MPS-G is 208.959.  A 208 record that is over the 2 club min would be very close!

Something's screwed up here . . .

Rule Book -- Robert Steele Jr., 2008, 208.959
200 Club -- Randall Parker, 2008, 980
???

. . . and there are no minimums with decimal-pointed figures -- only MPH.000.

Yes, Mark.  The second truck was arriving as I left there.  I guess I could go back out and see what it looks like now, a few hours later, but -- yeah, it'll take more than that one load.

Hey Jon. Thanks for all you do on this site. It is much appreciated, not only by me but by everyone on that visits here. And maybe Ron can start collecting the salt shakers at the Nugget when he eats there :-D

I'd like to congratulate Terry Fisher on setting the record for XF/BGC. I believe that record was the oldest car record in the book. 40 years!
