« on: August 06, 2006, 10:22:28 AM »
We are having a problem with an EGT gauge and might have to get another one sent.  Have I seen UPS out on the salt???

What are our options???  Have it sent to the motel or ????

Thanks,

Sum

We have had a couple things sent UPS they needed an address and zip so we had them sent to the hotel and picked them up at the front desk.

Send them to a hotel or motel, SCTA has stuff delivered every year to the motel.

But
Be very careful, I had a package sit on the shelf at Stateline for two days because of the careless looking by staff members.  Make sure you have tracking numbers and delivery confirmation to the front desk.  It can be very frustrating knowing a part has been delivered and not being able to find it.

That is true we had some truck parts that ended up on the desk of a guy who was on vacation.  They were found after we got home :x  :x  :x  :x  :x

Also beware UPS Red (next day) doesn't guarantee next day delivery to Wendover hotels.  The quickest way IS Red Label, but it seems to take two days.  Better confirm with your shipper.

Add a day to your usual service from UPS. It's better to have the package dropped anywhere than a hotel desk.

Talk to the NAPA fellows or some business that is a one on one arrangement. Use them for the drop.

Marlo has experienced this discrepancy in delivery schedules on more than one occasion.
