Speedy Rooms

My Mom's condition continues to worsen.  For that and a couple of other reasons I've decided to not come to Speedweek this year.

I have two reservations for rooms cause I couldn't make up my mind.  One is at Stateline Nugget, and one is at the Rainbow, both from the 10th to the 19th.  

I don't know how to transfer them, or even if I can.  In any event, call me if you have a need, and we'll see if we can figure it all out, 1.888.jim.knap (546.5627)

Sorry to hear that Jim, unfortunately as we get older (I'm 62) our parents get older.  I lost my dad a couple years ago and my Mom is 88 now and I never know for sure when I might have to make a run to Missouri for her (once so far this year).

I'm sure your Mom is glad you are there for her.  Hope you can make one of the later meets.

Jim, knowing how important Bonneville is to you, I certainly respect your dedication to your family.

When I first attended Speed Week I had absolutely no reason to be concerned for my parents. They weren't young but they were healthy. Now both of them are gone and my wife has the responsibility of her mother. All of a sudden priorities are rearranged.

It hurts to miss a Speed Week but it hurts even deeper to lose our parents. I commend your decision.
