Are you gonna buy a T-Shirt, Jack?

Personally I think Jack should buy a shirt, to show support for website where he is the number one poster on the website... And gives him a place to piss people off.. In fact he should buy two of them...
Jack thats just $30, send your kid off to salt talks to pick them up and pay for them...

Jon, I betcha we could have Darryl (the guy that makes the shirts) put a nice red circular target on the front of a couple of shirts -- Jack seems to be hinting that that's something he'd wear.

With kudos to the late great Jean Sheppard (author of The Christmas Story, amongst others), "In God We Trust, All Others Must Pay Cash".  This was never truer than with a proposed shirt deal involving Dolan..............See, we don't need no stinking targets....................

Actually I am told I will be fully sponsored by Target and will be sporting their logo but
I am sure their is enough money in the budget to handle anything or anybody.

I will be riding with my kid so as usual I will have to buy 2 sets and give him 1.
That will leave me with 3 shirts.
Got it!

Jon W. can I send you any money or do something to reserve one (large).  It always seems like I get there later than most.  Of course this could be hard for you to keep track of.

Or come by Blanding on the way there.

These are the best looking shirts yet :D .

Thanks and c ya soon,

Sum

Salt Talks '06

A couple of comments seem due from me.  First of all, there were about 30 leftover shirts from '05 -- some Large, some XLarge.  I donated them to Tonya Turk for the ECTA Ladies Auxiliary fund, and she says she'll be bringing those shirts to this year's SpeedWeek/Salt Talks.  If you want an '05 hirt -- see her.

Second, I'll take "reservations" for shirts -- but I gotta be honest.  Last year I had a list of about 20 reserved shirts, with sizes and emails addys and name of the person and everything.  I made sure I had the right shirts for everyone.  But I made one mistake -- I didn't give that list to Nancy, who handed out the shirts at Salt Talks -- so some folks on the list didn't get theirs.  CRAP!  SORRY!

I'll try to keep a list, and Nancy and I promise to talk to one another about the reservations, so yeah, Sum, I'll put you down for a Large shirt.  Bring the money with you to the Salt.

bbb:  Are you referring to Omar the Tentmaker as the person needing the XXXL shirt?  I've ordered more of the BIG sizes this year -- plenty of 2XL and 3XL.  I suppose it wouldn't hurt to let me know if I should put you on the list with Sum -- email direct (jon@infodestruction) or post your request here if you want the extra points...  Also: we're a equal opportunity shirt vendor -- racers, racer-wannabes, spectators, Jack Dolan -- anyone can buy a shirt, so no, you don't have to be a "participant", just someone that wants to share in the good times at Salt Talks.

C U There, boys and girls.  Three weeks from tomorrow night!

You don't want to wear my shirt any more than you might want to walk a mile in my shoes
 or underoos either.
