Yes Frank did 265.4 mph on a 2 mile runway.. he tried to do a backup run and had problems with water injection switch that kept the water injection on from a stop and bogged the motor down and into the wind, however still went 229 mph... The average in opposite directions was like 247 and change... Looks as if the bar will again be raised in 2006 as the bikes keep going faster, fastest one way pass now stands at 265.4 mph... There has been a progression of this since 1999 when the hayabusa came out... And they keep raising it again...

I believe this is on a two mile runway where this was achieved.

Way to go...

Jon

I'm afraid there are no salt lakes in the UK Glen, but in the meantime I'll be sure to pass on your warmest congratulations to Frank....

Or SDRC Jack. But what he did was impressive for a sit on bike.

New proof of old rules demands new words so as to look like the reinvention of the wheel.
The "Not invented here" is good if you are selling just locally.

how, why and who deemed Bonneville the only venue worthy of being called the true test? how did this become "fact?"
