It is the final size after the rebore, but you should be fine as "C" motors go up thru 372 ci.

The motorcycle guys can re-bore theirs, but I'll let them explain that.

The actual formula used is bore x bore x .7854 x stroke x # of cyls. All dimensions in inches and bore and stroke is "as measured".

Class    Cubic Inch Displacement (Liter Equiv)
AA = 501.00 cid and over (8.210 L and above)
A = 440.00 thru 500.99 cid (7.210 thru 8.209 L)
B = 373.00 thru 439.99 cid (6.112 thru 7.209 L)
C = 306.00 thru 372.99 cid (5.015 thru 6.111 L)
D = 261.00 thru 305.99 cid (4.277 thru 5.014 L)
E = 184.00 thru 260.99 cid (3.015 thru 4.276 L)
F = 123.00 thru 183.99 cid (2.016 thru 3.014 L)
G = 93.00 thru 122.99 cid (1.524 thru 2.015 L)
H = 62.00 thru 92.99 cid (1.016 thru 1.523 L)
I = 46.00 thru 61.99 cid (0.754 thru 1.015 L)
J = 31.00 thru 45.99 cid (0.508 thru 0.753 L)
K = up to 30.99 cid (0.507 L and under)

No, Sum -- please don't get everyone started on motorcycle ovebores again!  Anything -- talk about religion, or tell a mother her baby is ugly, or be rude to the inspectors -- anything but bike bore discussions.

I'd go on but I'm busy working on the race trailer.

Jon isn't overbored.

He's only been reamed out.

Too large to measure so he is UNLIMITED CLASS.

Rumor has it that the good Doctor was last seen packing luggage after practicing his "theories" on a young assistant.  I believe they were something about linear coefficients of cylindrical objects when friction is applied.....................................

 bore X bore X stroke X #of cylinders X .7854 = CID

 4.060 X 4.060 X 3.48 X 8 X .7854 = 360.42274

  When you get to filling out your tech card tell them it's
  has 361 Cubic Inches of Displacement.

THE BIKE RULE RULERS CRAWLING FROM UNDER A BOARD
« Reply #10 on: July 09, 2006, 05:42:38 AM »
The Bike Rule Rulers should be nailed to a board or slapped with one or what ?
I know they slide a lot of stuff under one and live under them.
When you shine a light on them, they scatter.
They must be "Ugly Babies" as Slim suggested.
 Is that it ?
I don't get it ! :wink:

Hey Jack,

Can you at least attempt to make your constant SCTA bashing appear to be related to the thread you are posting it in?

You can tell us anything you want but on the for we would like the bore and stroke if known....If you make it to impunds your cubic inches will be varified. Removal of a head and direct measurment, removal of 2 push rods and a calibrated air pump (same as nascar) or if you have a dual overhead cam or center spark plug we have the equipment to measure it. Good luck J. D.
