LSR printed coverage
« on: July 06, 2013, 12:43:18 PM »
I picked up the August 2013 Drive magazine last night at my local auto parts emporium.  This morning I noticed in the coverage of the Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show at Half Moon Bay Airport:

Better ask Rocky how it feels to be faster than Turbinator on two wheels!

It looks like the person who wrote the caption confused "kilometres per hour" with "miles per hour". Now you know why those of us who live north of the border always seem a little confused. Those of us with grey hair were brought up with the imperial system of measurement and for a long time now have been living with the metric system. Confusion is a normal state of mind!  :? :? :?

My point was the media and the writers don't understant many things they print but sales come first.

Its a free magazine, I don't think sales played a part in this one.

if it is free, I guess they make it up on the volume!!

Seriously Ack will take that speed if the FIM will accept it in MPH, then he won't have to run for a long time!!!

I knew it was KPH, but it is a publication and maybe they could have put both KPH and MPH
