Exhuming a dead horse.

Bob Yeakel's 1947 jet car, I recall, used a "pulse jet" like a V-1 German early cruise missle, ya might say, and was fueled by propane and MIGHT have run at the lakes.

 Anybody?

Back on topic, Walt (and Art) were of an age that will never be seen again, partly thanks to WW II and the vast surplus market, AND good old backyard genius. Lets hope history doesn't forget them.

A book on Midwest racers? I am working on a book for the University of Utah Press that encompasses the entire history of the BSF -- upt o 1970, 265,000 words and 550 pictures so far.
