:-D Love the reference to #53!   Most people have no idea how difficult it is to actually run on the salt.  Great to see Mr. Lague on the site, one wonders where people are after all the years.  I am glad to see the great variety of motorcycle streamliners on the salt, plenty of ideas out there.

A little off topic, just a pic from 1984 with the esteemed Mr. Lague, glad to see you (and Freud) are still around!

Matt

uh..yeah...:)...

they were at BUB...a few weeks ago...

the went around 90+ mph, had a fire...and I think most would expect some
teething issues...not sure how or what transpired...

they announced they wouldnt be ready to continue running at the Shootout....

Joe
They left a very salty Camaro in the Montego Bay parking lot, those brake rotors sure are brown............ :?

Matt

thanks for posting that photo Matt.  It made we dig up some of those great memories of those days and that cross country run.

I have been into LSR for a few years and am working with Sam Wheeler these days, and doing some video work on the motorcycle efforts.

I hope you are well.

Dick

Say it ain't so glen no Turbinator at the shoot out. why?

In earlier posts, it was stated they were having compressor stalls and were waiting on a new fuel control.

It was also stated that both Vesco cars would be at World Finals.

So,  maybe if the Shootout is delayed until after WF....

Mr Video, do you have a short short clip of Sam and his machine?

Marilyn Monroe has been gone a long time but we are still interested in her.

Same goes for Sam.

If you would like to see a series of clips on Sam's construction progress, go to www.streamliner.com for a series of videos on the project on the PARTS UNLIMITED/EZ HOOK streamliner.
