Boy, you newbies don't realize how big a deal this is, but if you are building a new car, or even sweating out rule changes, this is monumental.
Until the last couple of years if you didn't belong to a SCTA member Club, you would sometimes be hung out until mid-Spring not knowing what the Rules might be.

Thanks Bob,

We will soon have our book in hand - NASCAR is still waiting, if anyone cares.

Nope Nathan,

Too late for this year. I had a call today that the final proof copies went into the mail. A quick proof read(once again!!!) and its off to the presses.

I hope not

It used to and hopefully it will say it again soon.  We've been on the wrong side of the coin for too long IMO and too many folks have been trying to get away with too much flim flamy BS simply because "the rule book doesn't say I can't do this so that means that I can".  Ok fine we can fix that by adding "if it doesn't say you can do it, you cant" and all this free reign exploitation goes away.

BTW Dan nice job pointing that out and thanks for getting the bibles off to print so soon.

I may disagree. What ever happened to the inovative part of this deal? If a person has volunteered for a committee position then they should take the effort to work with the competitors the best they can.

I may disagree.

Well that'd be funny.  According to the last board meeting minutes you were the one who pointed it out and wanted to put it back into the rule book.

A racer can still be innovative within the limitations of the rules.

Sure they should... they should steer them in the right direction towards being in compliance with the rules.

I can give give a second thought to ideas. I did write "may disagree".

I knew innovative needed 2 'n' letters.
