Tires maintance during the SLOW months

Two questions 1. Whats the best way to store your tires for the off season and 2. Where do the west coast racers get their tires grooved?

Greetings:

I was told to put them in dark colored garbage sacks, and bring them into the house where its a steady climate and in a dark room like the basement, etc.

Hope this helps
Clay

Those who said it could not be done, should not stand in the way of those who are already doing it!

During storage keep tires away from light, high heat and fill them with nitrogen.
In the forums under tech information, aerodynamics, in the posting of exhaust flow and aero I made 3 extensive postings on tires, including how air, heat and light affects tires and there construction.
