Quote from: Bob Drury
The straightness of the line is in direct proportion with the amount of beverage consumed by the striping truck driver.  Imagine if Dolan were that driver... we might be running a figure eight!

I use black course markers that don't make so much space unusable as a black line on the salt.
It is also straighter, easier to see, and harmless in a crash. You can see them past the horizon and in the distance they look like they are coming together to a point for an additional view to sight on.
They don't blow down in a 50 mph wind and won't drift around in a mess when it is wet.
They are cheaper and reusable.
The BLACK LINE is tradition unhampered by experience.
Oh Yes, they reflect a lot of experience.

DON'T CROSS THE LINE

Tan lines can present the firmest line and most difficult barrier.
Tattoos are often past the tan line and as such are unassailable.

Scott, I heard the wheel wobble was so bad on your bike you were seeing four lines and had trouble staying between any of them, That's what Jack D. told me.lol

Scott was steering to the line, that was the wobble.
The long drifts were when he got caught in Al's roadster tracks.
Over the sound of the bike, he was often heard to cry out and yell "Gee, I sure hope Al gets it straightened out soon."
You stumbled on another "Fraction Control " speed secret.
The salt is always harder in Al's tracks once he got it hooked up, but a lot of times that didn't happen.
