Some folks have too much time on their hands, even while at work.  Here's a shot of "The Cook Shootout" that I just got from Ron Christensen (radio announcer at SpeedWeek and World of Speed and past/will be again racer), who's a fair hand with Photoshop.

Don't blame me, folks -- I just pass 'em along for your entertainment.

Bearcat is about to run -- Knapp is in the car.  Has 29 minutes left in the window.

Course is locked down.  Driver is belted in the car.  Canopy is down.

Engine is running.

Engine is off -- driver out of the car.  BAck on your heads, people.

Yup, it is, Glen.  I just posted about the engine failure at the line for Knapp.  Sorry for the delay.  We'll wait 'til further word from the far end of the course.

Knapp car has suffered a fuel pump problem and has aborted the return run.  Course is released for a while, but bikes should be ready to run very soon.

I guess I'll post this separately -- the Bearcat will not return run.  A fuel pump failure has made them scratch the run.

Stay tuned for bike runs.

Brandon and the electric bike has a small electrical problem per FIM Charlie, so that run is on short hold.  The other bikes have moved down the course to their chosen starting points.
