I just checked again and the USFRA site has only the run logs from Saturday, the first day of racing.  And that's all that I've received here.  I'll give you a run down on the #422 car (running right now) and then go looking for more data.

Quarter mile for the BGMR is 234.312 and moving hard,  first mile 238.521,  middle mile 246.139, last mile 249.496,  250.334 exit speed.

Any sightings of the #479 G/DT  VW Rabbit Pickup from Jesse's Truck Shop on the course?  They would be running against a 129.xxx mph record.  No matter how you slice it, that would be a fast diesel rabbit pickup.

It's the little blue truck that was the first photo in the series, back on page 5 of this thread, but must not have made any passes on Saturday.

It was in the staging lane yesterday (Sunday).  However, when I saw it, it wasn't too long before the crash.  So, I don't know if it actually got a run in or not.

Thanks Trimmers.  Hopefully they got a chance to make a run.

This internet thing sure is cool - getting updates anywhere on the planet.

You would like to think that Slim, Ray, et al. have nothing else to do except post race information here, but they do have other things to do.

Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

A list of Sunday's records is now available on the USFRA website, but still no list of all the Sunday runs.

And I am much happier running audio than hitting the refresh button.  We've worked at getting some audio sponsorship, which will cover the gas $ of making 5 trips a year out to Bonneville.  With the fun of having a new, more reliable, system to operated from the Landracing.com trailer, we feel that may be easier for next year, despite the hammered economy in general.

Ever hopeful.  Really, it's my wife.  If you go to the archived Sunday audio, at the very start, you can hear my better half start the show with a two part harmony including a carousel with drum solo on my head . . . No, really.  SHE would like have the babysitters for our disabled son covered while I'm gone, etc., and by the way, the sound of "What's in if for me" seems to echo through my home office at the mention of Bonneville.  Gee, she usually gets a spa day when I return.  And, my motto, largely ignored is: A man needs a hobby to keep him out of trouble.

It's like a reality show around  here.  I've half a bike stashed in the attic and garden shed, with some wheels and such under the workbench in the garage.  By the way, I think I'll sell my original Buell RR1000 bodywork, with an extra one-off carbon fiber tank that will never change shape with age or odd fuels, an M1R fork set, a couple of polished Marzochi wheels, then start a streamliner, maybe a sidecar streamliner.

And, If I get out for The Shootout, I'll promise the system will give us all the Sun, the Moon, and several Stars.  Just gotta sneak out the driveway and call in my location.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

We have had a great meet.  I have a APS-pg/pf 3000 bike.  Ran 197/203 for 200.5 record in the pf class.  Today qualified on a 201 record with a 207.7 run.  Tomorrow the plan is to make the return run and then pull the fairing and try to make 2 quick runs for an open record too

Jeff!!  That's the ticket!  Wish I was there to see it in person.  Love your S2 and that big motor.

Dan, it's REAL spendy.  The carbon fiber tank was $1700, the rest was $3600, I'll toss in the M1R forks from a Duc Paso, and if some one wants the polished wheels, we can talk.

While awaiting new posts, I've refurbished my original netbook from the very first webcast, works as good as new.  Part of the issue in past has been stuffing the kit in my car.  As it grew this year with all the mixers, etc., it has to go into Slim's trailer to keep track of things so working on the stuff becomes less of a yoga experience and more of a studio.  Now, I can pack the netbook around with a set of headphones and listen to the audio from our host in Chicago, instead of being glued to the seat or on the ten foot leash.

I wonder if Glen would like to do this part time . . . mmm, I'll ask him after the season.  Then we could both watch the races, make comments on the show, have time to see everything close up and chat with folks in the pits or wherever.  I'll work of it.

Steve M, I believe Kevin Winders blew up the engine in the Rabbit truck yesterday. I was at the line when he ranand I know it turned out to the right, indicating a problem. I heard there were engine parts (crankshaft chunks) laying on the course.
