Got 'nuther one, caught it at the last min last Thurs nite on WGBY PBS Springfield MA thanks to a fellow enthusiast who gave me a heads up.  "Gullwing at Twilight: The Bonneville Ride of John Fitch"  Well worth the 1 hr.  watch if it comes up on your local PBS station.

If you search youtube for land-speed you get a few videos.  Turbinator, and a couple of bike runs at Texas mile.

Bonneville as the search term gets a few more videos.

I saw that special about the Mercedes Gullwing,was sitting at work dreaming about getting my bike back from Australia one of these days(weeks,months??) and was flipping through the channels when I saw SALT!! Was an interesting show with a lot of shots of cars and bikes running.
