And the Honda S2000 engine will leave more than a few scratching their heads.

give nuthin away. But you are certainly invited to watch and take notes on the mistakes so you can develop your own success.
It saves a lot of time and energy.
Like a lot of things, you already knew all that stuff that is mentioned in the article. It took somebody like Bruce to put it all together.
The next evolution should be an S2000 Honda to measure the performance after the dyno studies are ready for the next step. I know where I can get an experienced one from Bonneville really cheap.

The idea

Is to consume all the energy that is normally lost in the exhaust heat with a cheap fluid that produces a harmless emission.
Nitro produces a lot of power per pound but at a very high cost.

Only problem I can see and Im certainly not in his league, is corrosion of the block but that could be handled with water additives and a stainless water tank. Would it be classed as a gas, steam, or hybrid motor? Neat stuff anyway

Would the corrosion problem be any worse than it is now ?
He is using rain water because it is delivered cheap and in SO Cal we don't have the contaminants like acid rain in other areas.
As soon as the exact science has been established, the project can move to a more practical application and allow water from more convenient supplies.
Expect to see a Sorta Diesel Rabbit not stopping at a service station near you.
As for class, it remains a Spark Ignition, NA Gas motor with water injection that is already allowed. But instead of curing a detonation problem it can make coffee.

I just meant rust from an iron block or corrosion from an aluminum one from water
