Now you are talking/responding! Welcome again  I will lift your ban (made by another mod) on the Jockey even though I told you to  post it here first  There is good cross pollination between the boards but your bike fits best here. Slim has a good site.

BigDaddy - aka:THE MAN WITH NO EYES
Cheers from Australia mate
We met at Speedweek last year. You were with the #200 Lobello belly tank. My mate Dozer & I stopped by your pits when you were thrashing on the belly tank. We also met at the Rainbow Casino bar in Wendover later that night.  You bought Dozer & I a pint. We called you THE MAN WITH NO EYES because you always had dark sunnies on even at night in the casino.

I have a 82 cx500 eurosport I ride on the street here in Sydney, You picked a ripper of a cycle to run on the salt.
My mates & I are planning on being at speedweek 2012, Are you going to be in the pits with the San Diego Roadsters again?
Hope to see you there
DOUG

Yes, we will be in the San Diego Roadster Club pits again. I look forward to seeing you & Dozer at the salt. You guys owe me a beer

We had planned on returning to Speedweek 2012 with that vintage belly tank but there were issues with the owner that we couldn't live with.... So we parted ways. I know he has a new driver & crew. They are thrashing on the tank in hopes to make it back to the salt this year. I wish then luck. I think they will need it......

Jacob & I wanted to be at speedweek 2012 , but we didn't want to just watch. Jacob & his son did some rules searching & found the CX was something we could get built withing a year & have a decent chance at a record.

Seeing you have a CX, stop by out pits with your cooler & we might put you to work. PS: I like Budweiser & I like it cold....
I will be easy to find, Just look for a fat old man with a long beard & sunglasses  8-)

Wear Levi's and a white shirt so they'll be sure to find you.

I wear shorts at SpeedWeek so I"m very easy to find.
Get off the stove Grandad.  You're too old to be riding the range.

I stopped by Monte Vista High School this morning to button up a few thing , just to find the school is having state testing this week. So the schedule is all turned around. One of the more dedicated students , Carter Haynes was busy setting up the mill during his lunch period when I arrived. We try to get the students involved in the build as much as we can.

Tman, Bigdaddy piss in your wheaties or something? His 'spam' is no different than the rest of up post, when someone helps us, or we find something that works.

I know for a fact, that you and I both make identical posts from time to time, on this board and another.....

Bigdaddy, I was following the build when it got deleted. I think it's great, and I really think it's great that you're getting those students involved.
With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

We got the peg mounts , rear wheel discs & wheel spacers back from poilishing & we took them to Kent Willis at A to Z Metal Finishing to be anodized. Jacob loves the look of anadized aluminum & he keeps saying THIS WILL LOOK BITCHEN...

The front shock slideres were sent out to another shop  last week to get powder coated .I won't mention who they are right now because they called & said they had them done  ,but they accedently gave them to another customer. They assured us that they will get them back to us tomorrow. :?.... I hope the hell they do because we had to get those sliders from a guy in England

CHEER FROM AUSTRALIA
American Land Speeder are a great bunch of blokes. Jacob proved I'm right about you yanks. He offered us a mate's rate at his house when we're in the States. If we had the time, we would nick down to San Diego & lob in for a holiday. We will only have 3 days in the States so there won't be time.  We will alley up when we get to Bonneville. We can toss an ox on the barbie & have a bit of a boozer.
Do us a favor & leave Freddy at his flat.
