ok, time to do the twisting of the wire.
really there is a spec on the number of twists?
i have drilled the front fork pinch bolts [4], the trans and oil drain plugs, hose clamped and wired oil filter, front brake caliper mounts [just cause i had them off], and my stealth rear under the inner fender belt guard. is there anything else i have to do to pass tech? [ as far as safety wire]

thanks RUNT

Rear axle, pinned or wired.  Oil/Trans fill plugs.

I'm not aware of specs on the number of twist...I also could be wrong, too.

pinned?, i assembled the axels to spec, then drilled a 1/8 hole just outside the nut and put in a cotter pin in the hole....will that work?, fill plug is going to be fun...lol

there is a right way a wrong way and a British way to do everything.
This is a good safety wire explanation.

cotter pins is good for the axle.

The FAA has a spec for aircraft "Safetying".  The spec is available in a number of places;

Fabricating Tips

Have you ever had a drill bit squeal like a pig instead of removing hardened metal or stainless steel? Those number drills getting dull after one hole? Next time, try a dab of Elmer’s Glue! That’s right, that white stuff that you used back in Kindergarten class. The lard in the glue will help lube the drill.  The glue will also keep the chips from flying all over the place.

If there's lard in Elmer's glue, I'm surprised it's not fried and on some menu down here. Has the oil plug/filter wiring returned to the rule book? I've always done it because it just
makes sense.

saturday, rookie / rookie lic. pass 117.3MPH  got my 125 lic. sunday run 1, 117.1mph [my foot and the gear shifter were not getting along, grabbed a false nuetral between 4th and 5th]. 2nd run went 132.6mph [had a nice direct tail wind] 3rd run 130.1mph.

very happy with my weekend, i met my goals and then some. the only person more happy then me is the local bike shop that just got a huge deposit on my not so huge parts order. will be back in september. looking for 150mph, but will be happy with 132.7mph...LOL
