I have a Ford 9" rear end that is about 37" wheel flange to wheel flange .... narrowed so that the pinion is on center and a gear set or two....
I have a slightly scattered BW Super T10 (for parts, really) good case good cluster, good second, third and fourth gears.... Weld wheels with 28" tall Goodyears and other stuff.
And, BTW, I use a four speed manual transmission in my rear engined lakester and ALL mechanical linkage with a Hurst Synchro-Loc shifter mounted in the driver's compartment. It was not that hard to make up.
