Hooley, you can hijack all you want, you are still in the game. I'm sitting on the side lines.

All you Studebaker guys should exchange chocolate chip cookie receipes. What a love fest!

What do you think Stan?

I think it's great to be inspired and maybe someday even go to the salt instead of chasing open records and taking up bandwidth listing the accomplishments(?) every time.  (And maybe even list contact info in in profile area -- once.)  That's what I think -- thanx for asking.

Stainless,
I talked to Norris at the Chili Bowl, he told me next week-end was the car show at the Century II.  The 898 Stude will be in it and they were having something about LSR going on.  Do you know anything about what's going on?  It might be a good place to swap  that new cookie recipe .hehehe

I just heard form Jerry Hoffman, he says he will not be able to be ready for SW. So we will not be returning this year.

Sorry Gary,
Was looking forward to seeing you there.  I guess I could drive over to Springfield, that is a lot closer than  Bonneville.

            You will be missed,

Gary,
Grab the "Bushmaster" and bring him along and come out anyway. He hasn't been there since about "53". He probably could use a break from the museum project.

Doug, that wouldn't work. I would be ready to throw him out or me jumping out before we went 10 miles. George is great but I couldn't take him for that long of a trip. I am going to sell the pickup camper that we used while racing on the salt. I have been doing some work on the GMC getting ready for Drag Week.

Hey Gary,

Dang, sorry to hear your not gonna make it. I must admit, a good smile,  when I read you were. I had hoped for a good "go to guy" in the pits. (Lord knows I usually need several).

A while back, I happened to be chasing another old Buick in the middle of Texas,  and I saw your awesome Stude on a trailer, headed west, for it's new home I guessed.
That got me stewing about it all... grateful for all your and Mikes help... proud to have you on my hero list... wondering when your gonna bring that Jimmy out and hand me my butt (like it should be)
... right about then,  I hear a siren... look in the mirror... Bingo!  Texas State boys got me : 87 in a 60 .
I mostly blame you!

Hope too see you on some race track again, some day.
